National Weather Service issues severe thunderstorm warning for Jackson County

JACKSON, MI — The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Jackson County until 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17.
The warning states at 4:08 p.m., "a severe thunderstorm was located near Tekonsha" moving at 55 miles per hour.
The thunderstorm may bring 60 mile per hour gusts, penny size hail and possible tornado, according to the warning.
According to the weather service, the storm will be near Babcock and Homer around 4:20 p.m., Albion about 4:25 p.m., Concord at 4:30 p.m., Parma and Spring Arbor about 4:35 p.m. and Sandstone about 4:40 p.m.
