Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics Offered Free on GOG

The Winter Sale kicks off with free copies of three Fallout titles.

To celebrate the launch of its Winter Sale, GOG is giving away a trio of classic games --FalloutFallout 2, and Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel -- free of charge.
The Fallout series has reached new levels of popularity in recent years thanks to Bethesda, which developed Fallout 3 and published the Obsidian-developed Fallout: New Vegas. For those who have never gotten to experience the series' origins, this is a perfect opportunity to see what inspired the most recent games. While you're at it, also check out IGN's history of Wasteland, the game that inspired the original Fallout.
All three games can be downloaded from here by anyone with a free GOG account for the first 48 hours of the Winter Sale, which kicked off today and runs through December 29.
