Mariah Carey: I'm Not Having Any More Kids (Unless Nick Cannon Can Get Pregnant)
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon may love being parents to twins Monroe and Morocco, but they don't plan on adding any more tiny tots into the family.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the superstar singer was asked by a fan caller whether or not the super-in-love couple was planning to expand their brood, and surprisingly, Carey is not up for it.
Well, unless her beau is the one that can deal with the pregnancy part of it.
"If Nick could have the babies himself, then yeah, bring 'em on. We love kids," Carey joked."Here's the thing: This is real. I'm responsible for the kids for like forever. I look at it like, they didn't ask for this lifestyle but here they are."
Furthermore, the star shared that she had to suffer some health problems during her pregnancy, including preeclampsia and gestational diabetes, and doesn't want to go through that again.
"To anyone who has ever carried twins, it is a totally different experience...You don't even know who you are," Carey said. "I had a very difficult pregnancy, but I was alone most of the time. We love Nick, but he's working. He's the hardest-working man in show business."
But when Cannon is at home, he makes sure to have some fun with the kiddos.
"When mom's home, we don't get to roll around on the furniture as much as we would like to," he had told E! News. "When she's not there, we're all over the place, jumping on the couch and the bed."
Cannon added, "The things that make me smile when it comes to my children are…just hearing them talk. They're little people now, they're opinionated and they sit around and just come up and say, 'Dad, I'm so happy.'"
"Just to hear them say, 'I love you'…brings little tears to your eyes," he said. "Smiles and tears, that's what it's all about."
