Taylor Swift’s ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ Gets Lip Sync Treatment From Victoria’s Secret Angels

When Taylor Swift wrote ‘I Knew You Were Trouble,’ the Victoria’s Secret Angels were probably the farthest thing from her mind, but now they’ll be forever associated with the song. The Angels recently took a break from hitting the catwalk to put their wing-filled spin on the entire dubstep-inspired track.

With appearances from VS models Lindsay Ellingson, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, Lily Aldridge, Doutzen Kroes and Behati Prinsloo, the short video gives a whole new look to Swift’s hit.

The video begins with a voice-over narrative by Aldridge, who describes her experience in the annual fashion show, saying, “I think when it’s all over, it just comes back in flashes … it’s like a kaleidoscope of memories.”

Soon, the catchy beat of ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ begins, and from that point on, the models turn carefree, sill, and seductive while lip-syncing all the words. A few of them have even perfected Swift’s trademark head toss and intersperse it throughout the video. They lip sync on the catwalk, on stairwells and in rooms filled with the Angel wings.

There’s also a cameo appearance by the songstress herself, and we have to admit that Hayley Williams of Paramore called it when she said she was convinced Swift is secretly a VS model. With her leggy frame and smooth hair, she truly looks like one of the Angels.

Although the Angels put a sexy spin on ‘I Knew You Were Trouble,’ there’s no one who can do it better than the songwriter herself. Be sure to watch Swift perform the song on the runway of the 2013 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Dec. 10 at 10PM ET on CBS.
